Bingo Challenge at Catch the Bug

Hello and happy Saturday!
This week our challenge at Catch the Bug is a Bingo, you have to choose one of the lines, in any direction. I chose Bugaboo image - Tag - Die Cuts. This is my tag:

The image is Lion love and I colored it with alcohol based markers. I cut it with Nestabilities Labels 2 and did the same for the two color cardstocks (yellow and orange).

I used yellow and orange ribbon to finish the tag. I think this tag could be used as a bookmark.

I hope you liked this little tag and feel inspired to join us this week.

New Challenge at Catch the Bug

Hello!
Today I am not showing you a card, today I am showing you a "desk organizer", this week at Catch the Bug our theme is  Recycle, Upcycle or use Household item.

I used the digi "Puppy pile" and colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I cut it with a circle die (Sizzix) and made the same for the green cardstock mat.

I was in need of just one pice of organizer, I have many different container on my desk, but they were all spread around. To build the organizer, I used five cans, (different sizes) and a cardboard cilinder. I used two different shades of gree paper to wrap every piece and with a hot glue gun I glued them together on a cardstock base. To embellish the organizer I used scrap paper and a butterfly punch.

I hope you like it and feel inspire to recycle, upcycle, re-use something and come and play with us.

Anything goes at Catch the Bug

Happy Saturday everyone!
Today a new challenge is starting at Catch the Bug and the theme is ANYTHING GOES, a favorite, right? This is my card for this week as GDT:

The image is Kidz Punky Topper and I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I feel very happy with the coloring. I am improving at using the brush and I can see this image looks better than others I did before :)

I cut it with a circle die (Sizzix) and did the same with the dark pink (or fuchsia) cardstock for the mat. I also did a bigger one with a pink cardstock and used a dott embossing folder (sizzix).  The idea for the LO it's based on a sketch I saw in a blog (Paper Craft Crew Challenge #187), but reinvented it.

I used Poligrphiservis patterned paper for the lower part and I left the white cardstock base for the upper part of the card. As embellishment I used pink ribbon and made a bow (I feel so happy that I learn how to do the bows myself!).

I hope you like my card and feel inspired to play this week with us.

Since we moved to our house in the fall, we were adopted by a cat, we call her Mishi.  My mom didn't like cats before (now she really likes Mishi), that's why Mishi is not allowed at home, we builded a house outside in our yard for her (the cat, not my mom); now the cat is pregnant and I really hope to have as pet one of the kittens... Well, that's why I chose this image today. Here is a pic of Mishi, our lucky cat:

Bright and Cheery challenge at Catch the Bug blog

Hello!
Today I want to show you a card I made as GDT for Catch the Bug Challenge this week. The theme is BRIGHT AND CHEERY. And this is my card:

I colored Edward Elephant - Flower with alcohol based markers (Kuretake) and cut it with an oval scallop die (Sizzix), then I distressed the borders with a green ink pad.

I choose green and yellow combo as base for my project. I made my own background with acuarelle paints... I love this technique. I just discovered it a few weeks ago and I am preparing a few more backgrounds :)

The sentiments (Birthday Wishes) is from a clear stamp set, I used a glue pad for embossing and golden powder to do it. I am learning to use the embossing powders with stamps. I used green and yellow ribbon, made a double bow to embellish the card.

I hope you like my card and come to play with us at Catch the Bug this week.

Anything Goes at Catch the Bug (Bugaboo challenge) GDT card

Hello!
Finally the day is here, today is my debut as GDT for Bugaboo stamps at Catch the Bug challenge blog. Every first Saturday of the month the challenge is

ANYTHING GOES

... and this is my card:

I colored the digistamp My little sock monkey with flower with alcohol based markers (I am also learning this).I used a pink cardstock mat for the image.

I made my own background, I am learning watercolor technique for background and I am so excited, because you can choose the colors and make the background to work for you :) I used more pink cardstock to mat the background.

The sentiment is from a set of clear stamps, I used a pink ink and pink embossing powder for it. I am loving using the embossing powder now that I learned how to do it.

The only embellishment is a pink ribbon and I made the bow. I also learned how to make them, in the past, my mom always helped me, but finally I can do it!

Hope you like the card and come to play with us this week.
